Live MusicThe Elite + Utopians + The Swines + Dazed Dakotas: Fantastic line up of four of the East Midlands top young bands. The Elite are a young Leicester 4-piece with some big plans for the future. With an average age of 17 and fresh out of the South Leicester music scene they are ready and hungry to push on up to the next tier of rock n roll. Influences are varied yet concrete. They include great classics like The Stone Roses, The Smiths, and The Strokes to name a few, but it by no means stops there. Debut E.P “Something New” is a 5-track assault of musical force. It’s packed full of high-energy guitars, catchy hooks & melodies, dynamic drums and some seriously ambitious lyrics. The stand-out tracks? Well, to be perfectly honest, all of them.
